Calling All Writers

As some of you may know, this past fall we held an event at the Hood Museum which highlighted visual artwork by survivors of violence. We’re happy to announce that this month we will host another event as part of our Survivor Art Series to showcase creative writing by our members and other survivors.

We are currently looking for submissions. If you or anyone you know would like to submit, please send work to art@dartheart.org by May 15th. Submissions must be poetry or prose and MUST be written by survivors of violence. Work may be on any subject matter and is certainly not restricted to violence or its aftermath.
