Part of what makes DartHeart unique is our choice to stay connected regardless of our location making DartHeart a very mobile solution to a student's active lifestyle. We are also unique in our vision to connect student survivors of post traumatic stress currently attending college with alumni survivors. Additionally, our forums act as another means of dialogue for healthcare professionals, educators, administrators, secondary survivors and any other supportive community members to connect with each other locally and nationally.

Students: If you are away from campus or on a leave term, the forums expand the reach of our support groups, letting you stay in touch with other survivors and advocates and retain your supportive contacts on campus. If you are looking for advice from students, alumni, or other network members across the country, post your queries to a forum. DartHeart members, advocates and professionals meet on the forum to provide you with a like-minded network of people wherever you are who can help you learn about and deal with the aftermath of a traumatic event and coping with post traumatic stress as a college student.

Alumni: Our forums are a place for students and alumni alike to come together to discuss a variety of topics related to their post traumatic stress while dealing with college life and post-college life. Here is a place to voice your questions, concerns, general thoughts, and particularly any pearls of wisdom you may have from your experience as a student with post traumatic stress.

Professionals: For you, the forum can be a place to network with administrators, health care providers, campus security and others who may be dealing with similar situations at their respective campuses. You're able to gain or give advice and feedback on survivor support tactics that have been effective, and hopefully you can help us in our goal to create more unity among our college resources for survivors of violence.

Forums can be public if you'd like to share helpful hints to all survivors or private to protect any confidential information. For more details on our forum privacy, visit our privacy page.
