Global Youth Network

DartHeart's global youth network unites survivors of trauma with the goal to offer each other mutual support, provide community mentorship, and enact social change. We are able to connect survivors in-person through our local groups and right here online via the forums and support groups in our closed social network!

A key component to recovery from post traumatic stress is peer affirmation. Although the event causing post traumatic stress may be distinct among survivors, the similarities we share in our recovery process allow us to understand one another and offer support.

Through our unity and community mentorship, we have aim to change the general perception of survivors as we raise awareness about the recovery process from post traumatic stress.

the benefits

Through our network, we're able to bring together survivors of trauma (unity & support!), friends of survivors, and community organizations. With these supportive connections, student survivors are able to relay their experiences (mentorship!) and work together with their communities to improve resources for themselves and many other trauma survivors (community change!).

With continued involvement from survivors, DartHeart's network is able to provide resources and opportunities for even more survivors of trauma to participate in a variety of ways. Every time you contribute to the Global Youth Network through a DartHeart opportunity, you'll have accomplished at least one part of our COMMUNICATE | CONNECT | CHANGE recovery model. Each part engages a necessary recovery technique. With continued involvement, you will alleviate some of your PTSD symptoms with positive recovery!
