HOPE Mentorship Program

Through DartHeart's HOPE Mentorship Program, survivors can unite, share their experiences, discuss techniques to reduce stress, and offer support when seeking assistance from campus and community organizations. Every student survivor who joins our Peer Support Network has the opportunity to meet with his or her fellow DartHeart Campus Group members who have experienced a similar type of trauma for mutual support and community change!

what a difference a cup of coffee (or tea!) can make...

Local businesses that wish to encourage the process of uniting survivors of trauma provide gift certificates for our DartHeart HOPE Mentorship Program.

DartHeart HOPE Mentors are survivors who join the peer support network and complete the established DartHeart mentor training. Because our mentors have personally experienced the lifestyle of a college student and the struggle to survive after trauma, they offer rare insight into these situations. DartHeart mentors have chosen to share their experience and knowledge of PTSD with other survivors during initial interviews and any time survivors arrange to get together for a HOPE Mentorship meeting. DartHeart mentors also make a commitment to regularly meet with campus and community organizations through our HOPE Mentorship Program to improve resources for themselves and other survivors of trauma.
